19 Organisation Joined Hand to  Celebrated Women’s Day – Nagpur

Women’s day was celebrated at Dhanwate National College.The women of nineteen organizations came at the same platform on this momentous day to assert their rights. The Presidents of Jamaat-e-Islami, Hind Nagpur- Dr Sabia Khan outlined “It is the need of an hour to educate Muslim women about Islam.The problem of triple talaq is due to the ignorance about the tenets of Islam.”With Allah, the most detestable of all things is divorce.”According to Shariyya- which the Muslim Personal Law Board follows makes it clear that dowry is forbidden in Islam and Mahar of bride must be paid by the groom at the earliest to bride after marriage. Islam gives the prorogation to bride to take Khulla if the marriage becomes the source of torment and trouble for her.” Dr Sarayu Tayawade in her inaugural speech viewed that the woman had a prime importance in the family. She was rightly called management guru. After discharging her familial responsibilities, she took active participation in various social activities in order to bring reformation in the society.
 Dr Saroj Aglawe opined by virtue of efforts of Savitribai Phule that the condition of women was improved and to bring much improvement the male child should be taught to respect the female folk. Advocate Rekha Barahate expressed that the role of women was immense to make a successful family. Gender discrimination should be discarded and if the women became the victim of domestic violence they should raise their voice. Aruna Sabna- the first woman journalist of Vidarbha region stressed that women needed to become self-dependent she shared her own experience.
In this program, various women organizations were present and supported it.Indian Women Federation, Farmer Organization ,Jamaat -E -Islami- Hind Nagpur- Women’s Wing, All India Anti Superstition organization( Nirmulan Sangathan), Orphan Pandyik Mahila Credit Co-operative Society, Dikshabhumi Mahila Dham Committee, Dham  Buddhist Women Friendship Association, National OBC Mahila Mahasangh, Maher Social Society, J. K Sakhi Forum, Vidarbha Unorganized Labour Organization, Subhod Women Organisation, Pallita Mahila Bahu Samaj Sewa Sanstha and  Asha Topper Foundation .Ther programme was compared by Safia Anjum and Banazeer Khan and  a vote of thanks were proposed by Sandhya Rajurkar.
