“He who has saved even one human life, is deemed to have saved the entire humanity” – The Holy Qur’an (Surah 5: Verse 32).
A blood donation camp was organized at the Mominpura Muslim Library Ground, by the joint efforts of the Jamat E Islami Nagpur Youth Wing and the Medical Service Society of India.
While explaining the numerous benefits of donating blood, the organizers pointed out that the biggest benefit is that donated blood can actually help save someone’s life. In reality, there is no bigger benefit than this. This is in accordance to the verse 32, of Surah 5 in the Holy Qur’an, which states, “he who has saved one innocent human life has done a deed similar to saving the entire humanity”.
The act of donating your own blood is a way to show others that you care for human lives too. Another aim of this blood donation camp is that this will be another way to strengthen the bond of brotherhood between all.
Around 320 donors helped to make this blood donation camp an immense success.
Along with the Jamaat E Islami Youth Wing and Medical Service Society of India, DCP (Zone 3) Hornorable Mr. Makhnikar, PI (Tehsil Police Station) Vaibhav Yadav and IRCT were also significant contributors towards the success of this blood donation camp.
