On the occasion of Mahashivratri, like every year, this year too, a Dawah bookstall was organized at Jogeshwari East where a full-day event happens on this day.
From 8 a.m. onwards, JIH members started their activity with Br. Nazeer and his team reaching the venue first and setting up the stall with its paraphernalia. The event was marked with few new members joining us for the work.
Huge crowd continued throughout the day but from 4 p.m. till 10 p.m. the book stall drew hordes of crowd towards it. The response can be gauged with the quantum of literature gifted, close to 1400 books on different topics along with 120 Quran translation copies in Hindi, Marathi and English languages.
This was a small effort from our side to spread the message of Islam to our countrymen. May Allah accept the efforts of all members involved.
