August 28, Malegaon
A large student conference was held on August 28th in Malegaon on the topic ‘Construction through Education’ which was addressed by Brother Tausif Jafar. This conference was attended by close to 2500 students and organized by North Maharashtra chapter of Students Islamic Organisation (SIO).
The conference dealt on 5 key major points:
1. Real concept of Education
2. Education should be able to provide for the social needs. Rather currently it is just producing machine-like minds to fulfill the need of the market
3. Education level and status of the society needs to improve as no society/community can progress until it excels on the education front
4. Morals based education is the need of the hour. Contemporary educational institutions are providing fuel to the fire and acting as hubs of crime.
5. The speaker urged the students to excel in their education as this is the basic criteria for the people who wish to bring a revolution.
