Jamaat e Islami,Hind, provides succor to Malin landslide victims
A team of Jamaat e Islami, Hind & MPT, Pune consisting of Dr Riyaz Khan and 7 activists M/s Shaikh Abid, Shaikh Imran, Shaikh Zamir Ayyub Shaikh, Mukhtar lead by Nazim e zila Shaikh Azimuddin visited the landslide site of Malin, Taluka Ambegaon, District Pune on Saturday 2nd August 2014 from 7 AM to 5 PM .
Pushing caste barriers aside, the team surveyed the tragic landslide site, visited the Relief Camp and consoled the relatives of the victims.
The team provided food and water to the affected persons, rescue workers, adivasi sewaks, local residents and police personnel working in the area.
The administration, police personnel and media persons appreciated the efforts of Jamaat.
