Marathi Sahitya Sammelan was held at Pune from January 15 to 18, 2016. In this sammelan, Islamic Marathi publication trust (IMPT) had participated by putting up a bookstall. Alhamdullilah, even on third day of the event, huge crowd visited the stall. Many people were amazed to see 270 titles of books, Holy Quran and its commentaries in Marathi language & bought Marathi Quran from the stall.
Till now, more than 600 Marathi translation copies of the Holy Quran have been sold. Close to 20 members of JIH Pune, JIH Pimpri Chinchwad and SIO were engaged during the 3-day event to clarify doubts of the crowd visiting the stall. It is hoped that like previous times best-selling book title would be won by Holy Quran again this year.
