President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Maharashtra Janaab Rizwanur Rehman Khan Sahab inaugurated Rahat Cooperative Credit Society, Bhiwandi on 18th October, 2019. It is the first society to be established in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) under the Department of Micro Finance, JIH-MH. The department has 12 other societies running in different cities of Maharashtra. The Inauguration program was organised at Mallika Masjid after Asr. Janaab Ashraf Shaikh sahab (Secretray Dept. Of Micro Finance) in his speech highlighted the performance of the societies being run under the department. *The consolidated turnover of the societies was more than 200 crores helping 12000+ shareholders for the year 2018-2019.* The societies are helping small business to raise capital, scale up and strengthen their business. It’s a practical mode of Dawah and is bringing social harmony in the society.
Janaab Rizwan Khan sahab thanked the shareholders for their help to establish the society. He requested them to continue supporting the society in future as well. He said he was confident that the project will show positive results very soon and made dua for the project. People from all walks of life attended the event and appreciated the efforts of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Bhiwandi Unit.
