Alhumdulillah Friday morning started with a very positive energy. On the blessed day of 12 th Rabi ul awwal, our team set out to carry out the most important task of our lives , the most important Sunnah of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) – Doing the Dawah !
The team comprised of members of JIH Millat Nagar Unit from Ladies Wing , Gents , SIO & GIO .
Gents & SIO setup a Bookstall , distributed books on different topics : Tauheed, aakherat, risalat and gave one-on-one Dawah wherever possible.
Ladies & GIO members displayed placards on the sands of Juhu Beach. The placards depicted various احادیٽ of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) . It caught attention of many passerby’s .
We interacted with mixed crowd that included students, a teacher, an atheist, media professional , fitness trainer etc to name a few .
Alhumdulillah the response was mixed and the experience invaluable !
There were few who appreciated the initiative to spread the message of peace & harmony , while there were a couple of people who politely refused to even listen to what we had to say !
Interaction with few of the مدعو revealed that misconceptions about Islam and Muslims have drifted them away from us and we as an اُمّت have to work very hard to bridge the gap !
May Allah accept the efforts of everyone and May Allah open the hearts of our وطنی brothers and sisters for Islam AAMEEN
