A Dawah Book Van aptly named ‘Shanti Sandesh’ was launched today by the President of JIH Maharashtra, Taufiq Aslam Khan on the sidelines of JIH Mumbai’s annual members’ meet.
This special book van would be circulated among all units of JIH Mumbai on a rotational basis. It houses translations of the Qur’an and other relevant books on Islam in a host of languages like English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil etc. meant to be distributed among fellow countrymen in order to convey to them the peaceful and universal message of Islam.
It is hoped that this endeavor of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind would help in spreading the teachings of Islam more effectively and further its mission of acquainting all human beings with their Lord and His messenger, Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم
