Nagpur Girls Islamic Organisation Protest Valentine’s Day.
Nagpur – Members of Girls Islamic Organisation Nagpur formed a human chain to celebrate Lajja / Haya Diwas and protest Valentine’s Day on Wednesday 14/2/18 at Samvidhan Chowk near RBI square.
A large number of Muslim community girls and others ppl participated to form the human chain. The event was held from 2 pm to 4 pm. Participants showed various banners in protest of Valentine’s Day and urged people to celebrate ‘Lajja / Haya Diwas’.
The girls were seen consciously wearing Hijab, holding the placards as they took a silent march through city streets. Many girls from the organization took to streets with placards displaying ‘Haya Day 14 February’. The placards further present the word ‘Haya’ embedded into a heart. The caption reads – Haya is the part our faith.
