Reformation Football Cup to Uphold Human Dignity by JIH Mumbra

Jamaat e Islami Hind Mumbra (JIH) and SIO Mumbra organized a football tournament at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Sports Complex, MM Valley, Mumbra. Chief Guest of the Tournament Janab Zafar Ansari Sahab (Secretary JIH Maharashtra- Tarbiyat Department), Guest including [Shabbir Khan(National President World Bodo Martial Arts Federation, Ehtesham Pappu(Renowned Social Activist, Sports Enthusiastics), Adil Khan Azmi(Renowned Social Activist, Sports Enthusiastics)
Mr Kishore (Director Rotary Club Thane) , Mr Shammi Sayyed(Charter President Rotary club mumbra) , Dr. Syed, Rafidad Sir etc]  & Irfan Jafri Sahab (Renowned Poet) briefly expressed their more like views & summarised the purpose, importance of such games and told that whoever is interested and want to achieve in football or any other sports he will not spoil his youth stays away from drugs &  bad things, also he will not waste time, energy &  his youth on unnecessary social media activities etc. He said that, we must play dedicatedly and generate the quality of team spirit, sportsmanship and humanity. Zafar Ansari Sahab also mention about “Human Dignity and Restoring Humanity Campaign”, reason for doing this campaign and asked to unite and stand keeping aside the fascism, communalism and extremism.
In the patronship of Muazzam Asre (President JIH Mumbra and Chairman of Reformation Sports Foundation Mumbra) echoed the same words & thoughts as that of Zafar Ansari Sahab & told that he will continue to take such more steps, do more for the younger generation. Also motivated the players asking them to set a very fine and high goal for our this life & hereafter and prepare to achieve it.
Since last 6 years Reformation Sports Foundation Mumbra in support with Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Mumbra, Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) and Youth Wing is organising a football tournament with the name Reformation Cup. Formerly the tournament was bonded for Mumbra based Football teams only but looking towards the growing interest and the increasing number of football fans, Reformation Sports Foundation members planned and proposed an idea for the acceptance of entrees from all over Mumbai &  Thane Region Colleges.
Response received was very enthusiastic as in all 14 teams participated from Mumbra Kalsekar College A &  B Team, MS College A, B &  C Team, Bharat College and Outside Mumbra Teams were KM Patel College(Dombivali), Father Angel  College (Ambernath), KJ Somaiya (Vidya vihar), SK Somaiya, Rizvi College (Bandra), Khalsa College (Matunga) etc

Moulana Faisal Madni (Director Madrasa Jamia Islamia) , Jb. Sabir baig SB (President JIH Thane).
Teams played the matches on 27th August 2016 which came to an end with a closing ceremony on the evening . All the matches were keenly presided by Mumbai’s renowned and unbiased Referees Johnson &  Richard.

Soon after this teams approached towards the ground and continued with the matches. Final game was played between Rizvi College (Bandra) and KM Patel (Dombivali) on 27th August. It was a very interesting match been played between the finalists making Rizvi College (Bandra) the champion of Human Dignity and Restoring Humanity Reformation Cup-2017 by defeating KM Patel College (Dombivali) with 3-2 goals margin in the final penalty shoot out.
Winning Team Rizvi College (Bandra) was honoured with trophy and a cash prize of 15,000 rupees by our Guests. Runner up team KM Patel (Dombivali) was also rewarded with trophy and cash prize of 10,000 rupees by our guest. Along with this Best Goalkeeper trophy was offered to Uzair Shakeel (Rizvi College (Bandra) Team and Best Player trophy to Uzair Ansari (Rizvi College (Bandra)).
Apart from all this there was also a Special Trophy for the Fair Played Team which was rewarded to Model College (Dombivali) for their fair gaming in the whole tournament
