A lecture was organised for ~130 undergraduate students of Kalsekar College, Nallasopara (W) this morning. As part of JIH Mumbai’s citywide campaign to sensitize the netizens on judicious use of social media platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter etc. the students were asked to concentrate more on their studies than on their smartphones, make real friends instead of virtual ones and actively read books instead of passively watching videos.
The students- both boys and girls- could relate to the points discussed in the lecture and shared their personal experiences as well.
Principal sir added a few anecdotes of his own and the program concluded in good cheer and applause.
