Meeting of Aimma and Trustees of Cheeta Camp, Paily Pada and Mankhurd areas was held under Islahe Muashera movement, after formation of ad-hoc committee. A permanent committee is now formed, which includes members of all Schools of Thought and Deeni Jamats. Issues of common interest like Anti-Drugs awareness & Simple and Sharia-based Nikah are the main focus areas of this committee.
A 3-month Marathi Speaking Classes have begun under the aegis of JIH Cheeta Camp at Islamic Centre. The need for such a class had been felt multiple times over the last few years. This is the first time that Marathi-speaking classes are being organized at Cheeta Camp.
