Unity of the communities was visible at the Eid Milan program at Parbhani organized by the local JIH unit on August 2nd. The congenial atmosphere created could be illustrated in the below poetic verses:
ख़ौफ़ के मंज़र यादों से मिटाओ फिर से;
सब मिलजुल कर मीठे नगमें गाओ फिर से।
बेरंग से मौसम हरसू हैं फ़िज़ाओं में;
चलो त्योहार सदभावना के मनाओ फिर से।
रोना मुस्कुराना गिरना व संभलना;
तुम भी बच्चे क्यूँ ना बन जाओ फिर से।
हाय आते-आते लब तक कहाँ खो गई;
चलो हँसी को रास्ता बताओ फिरसे।
सुलह्ना के आते हैं फिर आसार नज़र;
आओ उठी दीवार को गिराओ फिर से।
More than 80% of the gathering was made up of peace-loving brethren from the non-Muslim communities. This program certainly proves that no one can break the fellowship between our countrymen. We have lived together peacefully for centuries and will continue to do the same. We will continue with the love and brotherhood that binds us as human beings.
