On the holy occasion of Eid, JIH Khamgaon conducted Eid Get-together at D.Ed College. After recitation of holy Quran, Mohd Ziauddin, District President of JIH Buldhana, delivered the Inaugural Words. He expressed that the teachings of Islam and holy Quran are, indeed, for the entire mankind. Dr. Syed Rafiq—a well known Marathi Islamic orator in his hour long speech gave a comprehensive introduction of Islam. He beautifully elaborated the meaning of ‘Taqwa’ (God-fearing)…the spirit and key objective of fast. He threw light on the application of Taqwa in various aspects of social life. He projected the ‘sense of accountability’ as the key factor of change in human behavior. Putting stress, he said that this only can keep away man from corruption, exploitation and other malpractices resulting into establishment of evil free society. Moreover, he stressed upon the true sense of worship… the worship of one and only God. Further, being the women audience, he specially discussed about the issue of female-foeticide and its ill effect. He told about the dignity and honor of women especially in Islam. Program concluded with the vote of thanks of Mohd Faizullah.
