Medical Camp Organised by JIH Nagpur Woman’s Wing More than 200 women and children benefitted
The Woman’s Wing of JIH South Unit of Nagpur organized a medical camp near Haj House area in Ganjipeth for women and children in order to address the medical ailments and diseases that make people its victim. The purpose of the free medical camp was to carry out the preventive measurements against the diseases that remain rampant during the advent of raining season. Vandana Meshram the president of Awaaz Foundation and Poonam Khade the president of Toppers Foundation contributed in the camp. The duo was joined by the president of JIH Woman’s wing including Dr. Sabiha Khan and member Dr. Nazia Khan who all carried out the medical checkup of kids and women.
Dentist Dr. Praful Shudhdlwar from Awaaz Foundation and Dr. Nazia Khan of MSS (the JIH Medical wing) remained at the forefront in carrying out the dental medical checkup. At this juncture, the people participating in the camp were guided as per the teachings of Quran. It was said in the Camp how Islam plays an important role in fixing the health issues of people. It was further exhorted to stay away from the junk food made available outside especially during the rainy season and maintaining hygiene was also stressed by the dignitaries of JIH by stating that cleanliness is godliness and considered to be half of Islam’s faith.
Zaheda Ansari the Zonal President of JIH Woman’s wing (South Nagpur) along with the Social Work wing Taslim Iqbal thanked the people participating the camp, while she also thanked the volunteer for helping the unit to make the program successful. After the camp, the women and kids were also distributed with the free medicines by the JIH Medical Wing – MSS.
