The month of Ramazan has passed, but Allah’s remembrance should not be affected in the least. Keeping this in mind, JIH Mira Road invited Nazeer Shaikh sahab to speak on the various modes and ways to Remember Allah.
Nazeer sahab explained that since man is given to forgetfulness, he needs to be reminded time and again about Allah; this being all the more necessary because Allah is hidden from our sight in this mortal world. To facilitate this remembrance, Allah has instituted the system of Namaz, taught us everyday duas through Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and given us the Qur’an which is the best of remembrance.
The learned speaker averred that man keeps growing closer to Allah through His remembrance and a person who does not remember Allah is indeed rebellious. He also cautioned the audience that Allah wishes to be remembered only by those means which He Himself has taught us through his messenger and any innovation therein is not acceptable.
