Women’s wing, Mira Road

All praise be to Allah, JIH mira road has been organising every Ramadan reading and explanation of Quran during the first 20 days.

Alhamdulillah this year being the 15th year, the response and gathering was outstanding. The daily attendance reached from 800-1000 ladies. Daily one and a half Juz of the Quran was explained beautifully within a time span of 3 hours.

Along with the beautiful tafseer, there was a bookstall with books on various topics related to Islam, books on seerah, life of prophets, sahabas and books for children were in full demand. There was zakat and fitra collection. Even Ramadan kits were distributed to the real needy and people contributed wholeheartedly for the great cause.

A special Quiz was arranged for the audience on every alternate day followed by prize distribution for winners. On 13th of Ramadan, an iftar party was organized for halqae khawateen class students with around 250 attendees. On 18th Ramadan, 500 packets of iftar were distributed to all the attendees. Moreover, 2 non-muslim ladies attended the daurae tafseer making it the most remarkable moment.

As doure tafseer concludes on its last day emotions flow and people are in tears. People eagerly wait every year for doure tafseer to begin. There are people who travel long distances just so that they can attend it. There are people who have their places fixed and reserved.

The last day dua attracts outstanding crowd of about 1100 ladies. The dua is such a heartfelt one that none can stop crying. The last dua is the very essence of the whole program.
