The introductory program of JIH Mumbai’s upcoming campaign, “Nafrat ka Nash- Manavta ka Vikas” was held here at Scholars School and attended by members and associates from all over the city.

The program began with a Darse Quran of ayaat 33–36, Surah Ha Meem Sajda by Maulana Ayuub Noori. He related the ayaat to the theme of the campaign, informing the audience that these three ayaat give us the correct method of giving dawah.

The inaugural speech was delivered by Mumbai Metro Nazim, Muhammad Abdul Qadeer. He emphasized that such a campaign was the need of the hour and encouraged the cadre to actively participate in the campaign to make it a grand success.

This was followed by the Introduction of the Campaign by its Convenor, Muhammad Shakir, in which he briefed everyone present about the activities planned for the campaign, extending from the 20th of Dec to the 6th of Jan 2019.

The main segment was an informative and educative power point presentation by Dr. Salim Khan on the topic of the campaign “Nafrat ka Nash- Manavta ka Vikas”. He explained with reference to ayat 104 of Surah Aal’ Imran that Brotherhood is a blessing from the Almighty, hatred and love cannot co-exist, love is inborn while hatred is manufactured.

The concluding segment was a discussion on how to make the campaign successful in men by Mr. Aejaz Kashmiri, in women by Mrs. Farhat Islam and in youngsters by Brother Obaid. They suggested that the message of the campaign should be conveyed through hoardings, social media, corner meetings, one to one meetings, approaching colleges, schools, mahila mandals, heads of institutions, professionals etc.

This discussion was summed up by Mr. Muhammad Siraj, who said that just as we put maximum efforts for our wordly affairs we should put maximum effort for deen also.
