Hajj Training by Audiovisual Aids by JIH Mira Road

Hajis from all around the world have started gathering at Makkah to please their Lord and this once-in-a-lifetime-opportunity requires proper training to make it all the more rewarding. The Mira Road chapter of Jamaate Islami Hind organized a special audiovisual training camp this afternoon to guide the Hajis in their virtuous journey.

After a sumptuous lunch that was served immediately after Zohar namaz, the Hajis- some 15 altogether sat through a 2 hour video that explained the Hajj rites in a lucid language with the help of photographs of important locations and short videos. A voiceover in Urdu explained each and every step in great detail. A member of the Jamaat, who was fortunate enough to have performed Hajj a couple of years back guided the Hajis and paused the video to share important tips and required experience of ground realities as and when required.

Next, Maulana Abdullah spoke on the importance and purpose of the Hajj. He explained the objective behind every rite performed therein and instructed the Hajis to recollect the historic significance of Tawaf, Sa’i, Rami, Mina, Arafat and all such rites and places as they struggle to make their Hajj successful; and the sign of a successful Hajj is a positive renaissance in the life of the person post-Hajj, which everyone should strive for.
