The Eastern unit of Jamaate Islami Hind Nagpur had organized a children’s rally on the occasion of World Health Day. The rally kicked off at the Young Football Ground Mominpura and toured to different nooks and corner of the locality to conclude at the same location wherein it all started. The children’s rally was inaugurated by Azizur Rahman, the former City Organiser JIH Nagpur along with the Councilor Haji Kamil Ansari and Dilawar Khan. They were joined by Mr. Salim Arif as well. The rally had more than 300 children who displayed different placards and posters on the eve of World Health Day.
These placards carried different messages, which include Health is Wealth, Say no To excessive use of Mobile, Stay Alert, Mobile Keeps you Away from activism, Say no to Drugs, Alcohol,
Cleanliness is liked by Almighty Allah, Pray, remain active and many more similar messages that promote healthy living in society. The kids participating in the rally displayed a disciplined march while passing through 30 different places in the area. Most of the places they were greeted and welcomed with fruits, sweets, biscuits and soft drinks.
Addressing to the rally, Social activist, Mr. Sohel Ansari said that Islam encourages cleanliness and that cleanliness is godliness and hence we should give importance to our personal and societal cleanliness as well. He called the rally a big success as it has spread the right message on the occasion of the International Health Day. He said our personal cleanliness will also lead to having the required peace of mind. The members of JIH Central worked hard to make this rally a big success. They also participated with their children and families.
