Alhamdulillah today’s Dawah workshop held at Scholar’s School, Jogeshwari West, was a great success. Approx. 90 Khwateen attended and there was a great energy during the entire session. Starting with Tilawate Qur’an followed by speech and then views from two Non-Muslim sisters speaking about Islam countering the false image showcased in Media was a great surprise to all.

Role play session was the most exciting and most of the Khwateen took part as a Daee Madoo role and we observed role performed as Madoo were too powerful than Daee and then Muzaffar Ansari sb added his comments on how to tackle such cases. There was a short break with high snacks (Samosa, Dhokla & Jalebi + Tea) which recharged everyone to start fresh with the competition round which was worth watching.

Competition Round: Total 8 participants took part and had a fierce battle to put all the points in just 2 mins flat. Winner for this competition round was Kurla with runner up Santacruz and 3rd place Sakinaka, rest all received consolation prize as taking such a courageous participation needs rewarding.

The program then followed with a short audio by Maulana Sajjad Naomani which had 4 key learnings (1. Turn conversation into Dawah 2. Lister to the question completely and make dua 3. Answer with live examples and Hikmat & 4. Follow-up to complete the hujjat).

The last speech in the form of Zade Raah from Mohtarma Salma Aapa was heart touching summarizing all the key points of the program and giving us all a good take away. The program ended with Dua and prize distribution and with sweet memories and pledge to practice in our Daily lives what was learned in Dawah workshop.

Few new ladies were so impressed with the session that they have shown interest to join Jogeshwari unit.
