Ramadan is the month of great blessings and reward from Allah (s.w.a) if we are ready for it. We thank Allah (s.w.a.) for enabling us to reach this blessed month to reflect on our lives and reconsider our ways, hence an appropriate understanding is required to make the most of this blessed month. With this objective in mind every year Halke-khwateen Mira Road greet the blessed month of Ramadan by organising a special programme to remind others of the beneficial acts to be performed in this month and how to derive maximum sawaab from every moment of this blessed month.
This year the programme was organised at N.H. High school which was attended by 600 people The audience was told about the importance and blessings of this blessed month and great stress was laid on the importance of holding on to the book of Allah which is a source for guidance for all, an appeal was made to all present to attend the 20 days daura-e-tafseer of the Quran from the 1st of Ramadan to the 20th of Ramadan. There was also a panel discussion on issues relating to Ramadan which helped the audience understand how to spend this holy month in a way that is pleasing to Allah (s.w.a)
May this month be the month to understand that we have to follow the orders of Allah (s.w.a) and the sunnah of His prophet (s.a.w.) all the time and not only one month every year.
