Government has started special trains for migrant workers to take them to their homes across India. Due to this lockdown period and lost of jobs, they dont have anything with them to eat or buy things for traveling.
JIH Nagpur team distributed food packets to migrant workers at Nagpur Station going to various destinations. 42 migrant labourers boarded a bus to travel from Nagpur to west bengal. JIH volunteers helped them by providing necessary items like water bottles, wafers, biscuits for their long journey. JIH team is consistently giving it’s full efforts from day 1 of nationwide lockdown by distributing food packets and ration kits daily among needy families and poor peoples.
Till now thousands of ration kits have been distributed and lakhs of amounts have been spent in this cause till now.
