Making new and creative inroads into the field of Dawah, IIC- Pune began its 3 day exhibition “Know the Truth” today at Raja Ravi Verma Art Gallery, Pune.
More than 100 panels and a couple of interesting models are up for display which bring to focus the various teachings of Islam like Oneness of God, Prophethood, Qur’an and Science, Life after Death, Social Issues, Misunderstandings about Islam and Women’s Rights in Islam. At the inaugural program today, the Chief Guests were Mr. Sunil Mali (Editor of Sakal newspaper) and Mr. Dayanand Irkal (Shiv Sena Corporator)
Mr. Sunil Mali shared his feedback by averring that ‘There is indeed only One God and we should obey Him and worship Him alone. He said that such exhibitions are the need of the day as they help in wiping off hatred and promoting a sense of fraternity. This would rectify the misunderstandings and contribute to a better society.’
Mr. Dayanand Irkal was also all praise for the endeavour and expressed the need to conduct such exhibitions in housing societies and grounds so that the word of God reaches everyone and we can all stand shoulder to shoulder against social vices like Female Foetecide.
