An event was successfully organised by JIH  at new naaz hotel, jarimari,  kurla today for creating MSS kurla. 54 drs. attended the program inaugural words by janab haseeb bhatkar sab emphasized on the creation of a medical group working for all communities. He also said that it is god who cures but the medical professionals show us the way. Mumbai high court advocate mubin solkar while gracing the occasion spoke about the various laws and rights doctors need to be aware of while dealing with medico negligence cases. He also said doctors should go all out while saving the lifes of patient’s life irrespective of the consequences. The law takes care of other aspects and safeguards for their service to humanity. He also spoke about positive consumer courts verdicts if a doctor forgoes his renumeration. Also helpline no 103 and its immediate result was also discussed. Doctor Gavrau M.D. and well known consultant chest physician spoke about the multi resistant T.B. cases. by describing various case studies. He also spoke about the advantages of daily treatment and dots. Also informed G.P.s present to be well informed about various treatment available and not use prescriptions which make TB multi drug resistance. He also gave statistics about belarus (1|3rd population is infected) and Mumbai where 1|4th population about 25% population is MDR.Also said that if GPs dont notify then under a new law 3 months prison has come into existence.Dr Pervez mandviwala from MSS spoke about the organizations hierarchy , and its humanitarian activities. He also emphasized the need for MSS in kurla which was appreciated by all. At vote of thanks by Dr Alim thanked all delegates present. The program ended on the note that a whatsapp group meeting will be called for the creation of MSS
