PEACE AND HUMANITY CAMPAIGN’S REFORMATION FOOTBALL CUP

JIH and SIO mumbra organized a football tournament at Dombivali lodha stadium .Chief Guest of the Tournament Engineer Taufeeq Aslam Khan Sahab (President JIH Maharashtra) briefly summarised the purpose, importance of such games and told that whoever is interested and want to achieve in football or any other sports he will not spoil his youth stays away from drugs bad things. He said that, we must play dedicatedly and generate the quality of team spirit, sportsmanship and humanity. He also mention about “Nationwide Peace and Humanity Campaign”, reason for doing this campaign and asked to unite and stand keeping aside the fascism, communalism and extremism.*

Since last 5 years Reformation Sports Foundation Mumbra in support with Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Mumbra, Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) and Youth Wing is organising a football tournament with the name Reformation Cup. Formerly the tournament was bonded for Mumbra based Football teams only but looking towards the growing interest and the increasing number of football fans, Reformation Sports Foundation members planned and proposed an idea for the acceptance of entrees from all over Maharashtra.

Response received was very enthusiastic as in all 20 teams participated and played with 10 teams from within Mumbra, another 10 from different regions of Maharashtra Mumbai and Thane like Pusad(Ideal Relief Wing Team), Dombivali(DFSA), Vidyavihar(JDKM FC), Ambernath(Jash United), Kalwa(Tarun Sporting), and many more.

Teams played the matches in different groups for two days 28th August 2016 which came to an end with a closing ceremony on the evening of second day. All the matches were keenly presided by Mumbai’s renowned and unbiased Referees Mr. Anil Sir and Mansoor Sir.

Various Football sports loving people from Mumbra and Dombivali seen during this tournament. He said a sport anyways teaches us the same.

Mr. Zafar Ansari (JIH Maharashtra – Tarbiyat Department) also motivated the players asking them to set a very fine and high goal for our this life & hereafter and prepare to achieve it.

Soon after this teams approached towards the ground and continued with the matches. Final game was played between Mumbra FC(A) and Tarun Sporting from Kalwa on 28th August. It was a very interesting match been played between the finalists making Mumbra FC(A) the champion of Peace and Humanity Campaigns Reformation Cup-2016 by defeating Tarun Sporting(Kalwa) with 1 goal.

Winning Team Mumbra FC(A) was honoured with Champions trophy and a cash prize of 12,000 rupees by our Chief guest for Prize distribution Mr. Afsar Usmani (General Secretary Movement For Peace and Justice). Runner up team Tarun Sporting(Kalwa) was also rewarded with trophy and cash prize of 8,000 rupees by Mr. Adham Falahi(Treasure export promotion Council, Social Activist). Along with this Best Goalkeeper trophy was offered to Ejaz of Mumbra FC(A) Team and Best Player trophy to Vijay Kamble of Jash United(Ambernath) by our guest of honour Mr. Mazhar Farooque(Secretary Social Service Department JIH Maharashtra)

Winner : Mumbra FC (A)
Runner Up : Tarun sporting(Kalwa)

Best Player : Vijay Kamble(Jash United- Ambernath –  15 Goals)
Best Goalkeeper :Ejaz(Mumbra FC(A)

Apart from all this there was also a Special Trophy for the Fair Played Team which was rewarded to Mavericks FC for their fair gaming in the whole tournament
