Kul Jamati Tanzim of Mumbra organized a Peaceful Program on Friday 18th July 2014 at Zam Zam Hall, Mumbra,from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm on the topic SAVE GAZA …….SAVE HUMANITY. Several NGOs of Mumbra and Kausa were part of this Program and contributed significantly for the success of this program Alhamdulillah. Around 2,000 persons participated in this program and throughout the program the participants were peaceful and prayed for the Peace in Gaza and the world. The Convener of this program was Mr. Assadullah Khan, a prominent Educationist of Mumbra, who briefly highlighted the objectives of this program citing historical and current deteriorating situation prevailing in Gaza especially of the civilians which include women and children in large numbers. The Major powers of the world are silent on this issue and are not intervening to resolve the massive humanitarian crisis faced by the citizens of Gaza who do not have the basic needs of life. He then welcomed all including Media for this program.
Maulana Hamidullah Salfi representing Jamiat e Ahle Hadees appreciated the efforts of the NGOs to conduct this program on a very burning and sensitive topic. He said that everyone is aware of the historical background in which Israel was formed forcefully after occupying lands from neighboring Arab countries. The reason given for creation of Israel was that they are an exploited lot and deserve a place for their existence. After occupying small pieces of Arab Land in 1948, they have now forcefully extended their area by more than 10 times and are not content of the current area but want to expand their area by forceful aggression.
Maulana Shafiqur Rahman of Jamiat e Ulema Hind elaborated in detail the wrath of Almighty Allah on Jews from the Historical and religious perspective. He suggested that we all must boycott the products in which Israel is associated directly or indirectly as protest against the atrocities committed by Israel on the civilians of GAZA.
Brigadier Sudhir Sawant explained in brief about his earlier visits to Gaza when he along with seven other persons had carried Material aid to the affected victims of Gaza. He also said that this is a continuous struggle on all fronts and to continue it with perseverance. He said that he has never seen courageous people as Palestinians anywhere in the world. He said that the Jews have been responsible in encouraging Sex, Alcohol, Interest and distortion of faith in communities around the world so that there is gradual decay in society.
Janab Zafar Ansari , Secretary (Training) Jamat e Islami Hind reminded that Baitul Maqdas is the First Qibla for Muslims and is equally important after Masjid e Haram and Masjid e Nabuwi for Muslims and we have a deep attachment with it. The Baitul Maqdas is also very sacred to us because it is a land of Prophets and our last Prophet Mohammed (saw) led the prayers for all the Prophets and went to Meraj from this place. The Muslims all over the world constitute a single Ummah and any harm to its any constituent will have a chain reaction. It is with this feeling that we are deeply hurt and have concerns for our fellow brothers in GAZA. It is also to be noted each and every country in this world have defined borders whereas Israel does not have any man-made borders and there is no one to object the same. As a strong Protest, we must not use any of the soft drinks in which Israel is directly or indirectly associated and the same should be conveyed to our family members. We must also remember our brothers and sisters of GAZA in our daily prayers without fail.
Dr. Zaheeruddin Sahab spoke about the significance of Unity in the Ummah and appealed to unite so that the enemies of Islam should not come to us. He also suggested that we must remember our brothers and siters of GAZA in our daily prayers.
Mufti Huzaifa Sahab, Secretay of Jamiat e Ulema Hind, Madani group also spoke in detail about the atrocities committed by Israel on innocent civilians especially women and children in GAZA. He said that it was the United States of America and Russia and England who were responsible for the Rehabilitation of Jews in the Arab Lands. He quoted extensively from the Holy Quran and the Sunnah that the land of Palestine belonged to the Muslims and Israel cannot lay its claim. He suggested that as strong protest we must stop using products in which Israel is connected directly or indirectly and this must continue for a long time.
Brother Mohammed Javed, Ameer Jamat e Islami Hind, Mumbra , quoting from the Holy Quran said that the Almighty Allah has created this Universe with a Purpose and everything in this Universe is following a Uniform system of Balance. Any distortion in this balance by way of injustice, exploitation will create severe disturbance in Nature resulting in big Calamity. People in this world are looking for Peace which could only be achieved by creating a society based on Justice and freedom and this is the essence of good and worthy life. We all must strive for this and fight against injustice in our society until Balance is established.
Finally the Resolutions were passed with demands as follows:
• To convene a Special Session of the UN General Assembly to condemn the Israeli aggression and to ask in the strongest possible words to halt the attack immediately.
• To lift the siege and blockade of Gaza continuing since five years.
• To constitute a committee to evaluate the loss to civilians and civilian infrastructure.
• Make Israel accountable for all the civilian losses and compel her to compensate the losses fully.
• Ensure that Israel abides International laws, Agreements and Conventions etc.
We also urge the UN to reach out to the Gaza people with all necessary relief and rehabilitation materials.
The kul Jamat Tanzim of Mumbra representing several NGO’s strongly condemns the atrocities being committed by Israel on the innocent civilians mostly women and children of Gaza.

We also resolve to boycott products which are directly or indirectly associated with Israel in any capacity.
We also resolve to strengthen our bond with the Creator and emphasize the need to remember the affected victims of Gaza in our prayers especially in the holy month of Ramadan.
The Program concluded with a very emotional Dua by Maulana Mufti Huzaifa Sahab.
