This month’s tarbiyati ijtema at Mira Road was held on the topic of Social media. This is a platform which has huge potential for spreading of a message and hence the role it can play in Dawah work is immense. The program began with a recorded video message from JIH Vice President, Janab Syed Sadatullah Husaini, highlighting the importance of Social Media in Dawah work. Thereafter, practical session was undertaken which involved Dr. Parvez Mandiwala sharing tips and techniques on using Facebook and Blog posts for Dawah and similarly Misbah Kamran, SIO Mira Road President threw light on the use of Twitter to the audience. The requirements of the Jamaat were explained to the audience w.r.t. social media.
