Jamat e islami hind kurla unit organised an ulema/trustee meet at vikas krishi samiti hall, V. B. Nagar, kurla . Altogether 45 ulema and trustees of various maktabe fikr participated in the program making a gathering of 70 people.The program was started with tilawat e quran by maulana ejaz imam of bhartiya nagar masjid, kurla

Ameer e maqami kurla spoke about the prevailing situation in the country and the need for the ummat to unite in this hour of crisis and about the common agenda which can be undertaken.

It was followed by janab siddique qureishi sabs speech which emphasized our religious heritage , guidance and the sacrifices ulema community has perform He also emphasized that various sects in Islam is the flexibility which the prophet (pbuh) exhorted. He also lamented about our current leadership and their outreach with the masses gave example of suryanamaskar in schools.

Mohtaram Hakimuddin sab from zainee bohra jamat spoke about the disease , remedies of various problems. He emphasizes the need for the teams first step to be taken in this direction , which will be Almighty’s great favor.

Maulana Afroz Alimi sab from Ahle sunnat wal janab and Imam sirajia masjid spoke about the aspirations of the people in this regard and the injunction in the quran about remaining cohesive and not getting divided into sects. He also spoke about the conspiracies in dividing community and using ones I.Q. to solve it.

Mufti rizwan sab from jamiatul ulema spoke about no compromising on tauheed and to stay united and be aware about fascist forces.

Maulana Abdus Salam salfi sab representative from Ahle Hadees jamat quoted from quran and hadees that the time and need for ulemas to come together now has come.

Maulana faiyyaz sab from alhe tashi said all muslims are 80% same. And practically we can still come together as all Shias pray in masjid e haram at Haj.He reiterated that masjids should be for all Muslims and not maslaqs. He quoted extensively about brotherhood as professed by imam khoemini and imam sistani. He also spoke about the need to identify the enemy and take appropriate steps for it.

Then abdul haseeb sab spoke about the prevailing situation and the need for common jummah khutbah in this regard.The question and Answer session kept the audience thoroughly engrossed with various suggestions by participants.

The program ended with the initiation of a forum aptly titled ” Majlis Ittehadul Ulema kurla “.which intends to meet and carry forward the program.
